Overview: McCarthy is seeking a strategic, business-minded Senior Corporate Counsel to support its Central Region. Based in St. Louis, this role reports to the VP, Associate General Counsel, and serves as a key advisor within a highly integrated legal team. The position offers the opportunity to partner closely with operations and leadership to lead complex contract negotiations and provide practical, solutions-oriented legal guidance across a broad range of construction transactions, while playing a meaningful role in shaping risk management and supporting project execution.
Experience: The ideal candidate will bring significant legal experience with at least 5 years focused in construction law. Deep familiarity across design-build, CMAR, and procurement agreements. Strong experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating upstream and downstream project agreements, as well as advising internal stakeholders, is essential. Ideal candidates will have in-house experience.
