We are seeking a full-time or part-time associate lawyer (minimum 20 hours per week) to assist us with our expanding business and immigration law practice. We are an established law firm (25+ years) in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with US-based and international clients. Open to hybrid work arrangement (partial in office and partial remote). Seeking applicants with at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients regarding legal strategies.
- Draft and review contracts, business filings, and other legal documents.
- Appear in court to protect clients' interests.
- Review and file pleadings.
- Work with paralegals and legal assistants.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor Degree and at least two years of experience.
- Admitted to the Virginia Bar (or pending).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of corporate law.
- Experience with asset-based acquisitions preferred.
- Understanding of contract formation and negotiation, business formation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial leases, employment agreements, etc.
