Husch Blackwell, a national law firm, has an immediate opening in its Milwaukee or Kansas City office for an Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate with two to five years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a tax and/or accounting background and meaningful experience with ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code, either at a law firm or an accounting firm. However, we will consider exceptional candidates that do not meet all these criteria.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
