Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an associate with three to five years of experience to join its Corporate team. Candidates should have experience in sophisticated private merger and acquisition transactions (including private equity and venture capital investing) as well as solid drafting, negotiating and deal skills. Experience in public company M&A is a plus, but not required. The ideal candidate will also have a strong academic record, exceptional analytical and writing skills and be a true team player. The successful candidate will have immediate and regular client contact, negotiation and drafting responsibilities and opportunities to participate in business development with partners on an active, influential and growing New York team, including with cutting edge clients in the healthcare, fin-tech, software and consumer products industries.
