The Technology and Commercial Contracting group in Washington, DC seeks an attorney in a part-time associate position to help grow an innovative team. The candidate will not be guaranteed any specific hours, but generally will have a billable hour goal of 1,000+ hours and will be paid an hourly rate (depending on experience and commitment) for billable credit hours worked and recorded. The attorney will be under the supervision of full time lawyers working in client-focused service teams. Substantive training will be provided. This position is administratively classified as a “project lawyer,” and is not partnership-track or benefits-eligible. Five or more years of commercial contracting, procurement or information technology experience preferred. Telecommuting from a home office in the region may be available for more experienced lawyers, although it is expected that the lawyer would be available to come into the Washington, DC office on an agreed basis.
